Spa Day

Hi everyone! The other day mom said something called "Spring" is here. I'm not sure what that means, but it started out with snow and I really enjoy that, so I think I'll like spring...seems to be a lot like winter.

Catching some flakes...it's so fun!

I've met some friends around my house lately. There's Max, he lives next door, then in the back is Brutus (a Bull dog) and Gizmo (a Shitzu). I had a great time outside the other day trying to play with them, I think it will work better once I get something called a fence. I can't wait to run up and down their fence with them.

Here I am having a staring contest with Brutus.
We sat like this for almost 5 minutes.

Oh, so you are probably wondering why the title of this post is "Spa Day". Well, today I went to the Doggie Day Spa at Petsmart. I was super excited to go in the car, I never care where we are going, I just like to ride. We ended up at Petsmart, one of my favorite places. I thought I was just getting some new toys, but instead we walked into a room that smelled like shampoo and other dogs. I proceeded to pee on the corner of the counter (apparently that is frowned upon). I wasn't sure what was going on but it seemed like something fun. Shortly after I relieved myself, a nice lady name Patty took me away from mom. I was like "C-ya mom". I thought maybe this was doggie day care again, but I was wrong. I ended up getting a bath, then standing on a table where they trimmed my wild hair. I was getting long around my toes, belly and butt. They cut my nails and checked my ears, it was great. I was there forever and I started to miss my mom. Finally she came to get me, talk about excited, I couldn't get through the door fast enough! I felt fresh and relaxed, oh and I got a new ball! I passed out in the car on the way home, then posed for this picture to show off my first hair cut.

Am I a cutie or what?

So that was my spa day. The snow seems to be gone, which stinks for me. But apparently something called softball starts in a few weeks so I get to help cheer on my dad and his team, the Athletics. Here I am modeling their new hats.

Go A's!

I'm looking forward to this weekend. I'll get to see all my aunt's and uncle's and celebrate my first Easter! But for now, I think it's bed time. Night all!

Catching Up

Hey everyone. Sorry it's been a week since I last posted. As you know I was parent-less for a few days last week/weekend. I got to stay at grandma and grandpa Dunn's. So I'll catch you up on all the activities I did while I was there. (I did not go to Tennessee, but I can't wait to go there this summer!)

Thursday:
My parents left really early in the morning and I was not a happy boy.  But Uncle Mark came over in the afternoon and walked me and then took me over to the Dunn house. I took another walk over there around the lake and met some of their nice neighbors. It was nice to be out and about. Later that night I got to see my parents on Mark's cell phone. We did something called face time? It was really neat, I could hear them and see them! (and Aunt Missy too! I miss her.)

Here I am resting after one of my walks.

Friday:
I got to hang out with Mark and Cindi for most of the day Friday. I did pee on the floor at their house, not really sure why. (Sorry guys) When grandpa got home from work I got to play with him. Like I said in a previous post, I love playing the biting game and trying to get his hat off of his head. I really get worn out playing with him (and so does he).

Playing with grandpa.

Napping with grandpa.

Saturday:
Here's a list of what I did Saturday: rode on a golf cart, took a walk with grandma, played in the pole barn, walked the backyard with grandpa where we found a dead animal, played with Mark, tried to eat peanuts that grandma was eating....and probably a whole lot more but I can't remember everything.

Here I am out by the pole barn. It's awesome out there.

Sunday:
This was my last day at the Dunn's. I didn't know it though. I was just getting settled into my new digs. I had finally relaxed and was pretty worn out from all my weekend activities. (See picture below). I had to watch Mark leave and go back to school.  I had a nice time and wasn't really sure if my parents were ever coming back. But they finally did. They quietly came in the house, I didn't hear them. I was playing with grandpa and happened to look up over the couch and there they were! O.M.G. I was so excited (I even peed a little). It was great to get back to my house, but I loved being at my grandparents. They were great dog sitters!

Worn out pup.

Shout out to: Grandma and Grandpa Dunn for letting me stay at their house! And Mark for helping take care of me and for taking all the above pictures.

That was my weekend. And this week has just been pretty typical. Following mom around, playing outside (it snowed today! Sweet!), chasing dad, peeing on the bed (whoops), and just being a regular old puppy.

Peace out home dogs! Woof!

So Fresh and So Clean

Hi everyone! Hope you all had a fantastic weekend. Mine was pretty good. I was sick again Saturday night, but I am 100% fine now. My Saturday was full of activities. I watched my grandpa fix a sink and a shower, took a walk and then had to hang out in my crate while my parents went out. I was sick in the crate while they were gone, it smelled so bad (that's all the details you need). So mom and dad had to clean that when they got home, whoops. Sunday I relaxed most of the day then I played out back with the neighbor kid Nick. I started digging a big hole. It's awesome! Then I got to see Uncle Mark, grandma Cindi and grandpa John when they came over for dinner. I love to play rough with grandpa John (especially the biting game!) It was so great to see them. I love visitors.

Ugh..in the crate.
I didn't even look up for the picture. (Just get me out!)

Monday was pretty chill also. Mom left in the morning without letting me out, but she wasn't gone very long at all. Then we played and took a nap. It was a rainy day and I am really not a fan of the rain. I like to go out real fast and then come right back in. Apparently I was a little smelly because dad gave me a shower that night! I really enjoy taking showers. I like to lick up the water and just get fresh and clean. I even tried to get back in the shower when it wasn't my turn (sorry mom).

Shower time is my favorite time!

So I got clean in the shower and I got my teeth brushed (hence the name of this post). Well sort of, I'm still getting used to it but mom tries to brush my pearly whites. We want them to stay nice and pretty forever. She can't quite take a photo while brushing them, so here is one of me just smiling for the camera. Anyone know of any modeling jobs?

This face could make some money honey!

Well friends, my giant bone from Traders World is calling my name. My parents are going out of town this weekend and not taking me (something about me being too wild in Aunt Missy's new house.) But I might get to go with grandpa John to Tennessee, so whatever. I might not be able to post for a few days. Have a great week! Woof.

Last Night

Last night was a fun and eventful night. I did get to take an afternoon walk and it was wonderful! My mom didn't snap any pictures because she was wearing these warm, soft things on her hands. I later stole them out of her pocket (and got scolded). But anyway, back to last night. My grandma Donna, grandpa Jeff and Harley came over. I was outside when they arrived so I didn't even know they were here. I got stuck under the deck (of course) so grandpa came out to get me. Oh man, I was so excited to see him. I love when visitors come over. I go crazy, and jump, and act like a mad man. When I got back inside I discovered my pal Harley was over too! I LOVE playing with him (he doesn't love it as much as I do.) We played ball, and chase and I tried to wrestle with him. He just growled at me for some reason. Here we are together (good luck getting us to sit still next to each other...)

We had fun together!

After my dad got home, Harley and I got put into our crates. We were not happy. I was crying like a baby and Harley was yelping like crazy. A while later our parents arrived back from wherever they went (dad smelled like buffalo sauce so he must have ate something really good!) We did our business then started to play again. Grandpa found a squeaker ball that was pushed back by the dishwasher. I missed that ball! We all went to the basement to play ball and a game of dominoes. I'd never played that game before but I think I was doing quite well.

Just checking out my dominoes. Dad...where's my soda!

It was a fun evening and I had a great time with my family. I was getting pretty tired though since I'd followed mom around all day, taken a walk, played with Harley and got my squeaker ball back. Since I was really tired I got to attempt to sleep in bed with mom and dad. It was going well and I was exhausted, but then my tummy started to hurt. I'd had this feeling before, so I had to wake mom up to go outside and do my business (at midnight). Then we went back to bed. Then I had to get up again, and again, and again. It was almost every hour. I did not feel well. :( Finally after I went out at 6:30 am, I fell into a deep sleep in my crate. I think I heard my dad leave but I was pretty out of it. I guess mom was really tired too because she didn't get me up until 10:30 (she even missed Zumba...sorry mom.) I was asleep on my back in my crate, she said I was cute (but she didn't have her camera on her.)

That's me. Feeling ill.

I'm happy to report that I am feeling MUCH better. It's a nice sunny day again so I'm probably going to take a walk again to day! Woo hoo!

Have a great weekend! Woof!

Following Mom Around

So far today I've enjoyed following my mom around. She's currently home all the time (which I LOVE), I'm not really sure why, but she spends a lot of time on this computer thing. Anyway, today there is a lot of cleaning. I'm really interested in the toilet bowl and she put this blue stuff in it (yes I can see color), and then told me to get out. Then she used this fun brush that I really wanted to get my chompers on. I have yet to see the Swiffer duster, but man I LOVE that thing. Chasing it is so fun and mom laughs at me. Oh man...she just got out the vacuum, I better go hide, it is so scary!!!.......

That's me being terrified of the vacuum.
(Apparently I'm "hairy" and that's why she has to use it.)

I've been outside a lot already today and it's only noon. I am obsessed with the snow, I am so glad we got more it's really fun to play in and eat. But since I don't have a fence yet I have to get tied up and I get stuck under the deck almost every time, then mom has to come out and get me. (I hope she doesn't slip down the stairs, I can't remember the number for 911.) Oh, she took a picture of me eating the snow. How cute.

Yum! Snow!

For some reason I've been chewing a lot again lately. I thought I was over this because I have all my adult teeth, but I love to bite on everything. Most of my toys are destroyed (I'm taking donations for new ones.) But so far today I've had a chewy, bit on my rope for a bit, played with my favorite ball, carried mom's boot around, carried a bathroom rug around and got dad's sandal out of the closet. Oh crap, she caught me with that one...

Sorry dad.

It's been an exciting day so far. I haven't been put back in my crate yet so I am super pumped about that, I hate that thing. But mom told me she has to run errands and work out later, but she did promise a walk! Oh my gosh, the sun is out I can't wait to take a walk!

Until next time. Woof!
